I love city life. And, Denver did not disappoint. Denver is one of the cleanest big cities I’ve been too. It’s environmental friendly vibe is accompanied by bikers, hipsters, book stores, artists, college students, and those beautiful Rocky Mountains. Needless to say, it is a Jen kind of town.
If you only have one day in Denver, I have a few recommendations.
But, first, coffee…
Right in the heart of Downtown Denver, The Market is a must. This coffee shoppe has a Downton Abbey vibe. Homemade baked goods, teas galore and a deli in the back, you really can’t go wrong. Their homemade biscotti was the best I’ve ever had.
A cool vibe, fantastic espresso, and amazing macadamia nut cookies.
The Molecule Effect is in the heart of the art district. In addition to the every day regular coffee drinks, they change their seasonal menu with some fun and quirky options. Afterwards, head on over to the Denver Art Museum.
For lunch, head down 17th street for a quick bite at Olive&Finch. Fresh bread, free wifi and more baked goods. Does it get any better?
End the day at Union Station. A variety of shoppes, an awesome ice cream parlor and a variety of restaurants to choose from, you’ll easily lose yourself in a different world.
Cheers!
