A few weeks ago, I had so much fun sitting down with my friend, Charity Hall, to talk about the release St Ives Memory. We talked about the purpose in writing this book, what you will see woven throughout the chapters, and why you should especially read it if you read A Song for Somme, the first book to this sequel.
Flannery O’Connery once said, “A story is a way to say something that can’t be said any other way, and it takes every word in the story to say what the meaning is. You tell a story because a statement would be inadequate. When anybody asks what a story is about, the most proper thing is to tell them to read the story.”
The best way to share my own healing journey is through story, so I do hope that you will read this story and know, as my friend Charity stated in our interview, “There is purpose in the pain we walk through.”
Listen to the interview below. St Ives Memory can be purchased on Amazon. Click here. Cheers until next time, friends!
I like how you said as a writer you also want to be part of the journey. Never thought about writing that way. I’m always looking towards the conclusion of my writing and don’t always enjoy the process. This can be said about life too! Can’t wait to start reading it after I’m done with school.

I enjoy it more when I treat it as a journey, that’s for sure! Can’t wait for you to read it after you graduate…such an accomplishment for you!
